My background isn't in film; it's in managing the national systems for a portfolio of government contracts with an annual spend of $160 million.

Early on, I learned that performance wasn't driven by clauses in a contract; it was driven by purpose. My job wasn't to enforce KPIs; it was to connect my team and 800 contractors to a single, unifying story: we were serving the families of the Australian Defence Force. By reminding them of the why, the contracts and KPIs took care of themselves.

That world taught me one undeniable truth: the biggest threat to any operation isn't in a budget or a spreadsheet. It's in the story, the community and your own people believe.

I founded Beach Shack Productions to apply that same principle at a strategic level.
