Story-driven films and campaign assets designed to make strong businesses easier to understand, trust, and choose.
When you partner with Beach Shack Productions, you’re not just hiring a video crew, you’re investing in a strategic storytelling process designed to turn your brand’s essence into a video that performs everywhere: your website, ads, social media, and sales funnels.
This short documentary was produced for the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum exhibition Biophilia: A Leaf is a Leaf is a Leaf (30 Aug – 11 Oct 2025).
It was created to introduce audiences to Central Queensland artist Bina Van Haeften, showcasing her eco-dyeing and botanical printing practice and the intimate connection between her art, her environment, and sustainable living.
By telling the story behind Bina’s process and philosophy, the film provided visitors with deeper context for the exhibition while also serving as a promotional piece to highlight regional arts and culture, supported through the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).
Social media is where discovery happens. It’s where people first stumble across your brand—not ready to buy, but curious enough to stop scrolling. That’s why we use short-form videos, photo stories, and snackable content designed to spark interest and create a connection.
For clients like Red Cloud Jewels, this means a monthly retainer where we manage social media, produce story-driven content, and run email campaigns through our custom-built Story Driven Growth CRM. This allows us to optimise every touchpoint and build a community of loyal followers—both on and off social media platforms.
Think of social media as the bridge. It moves people from not knowing you exist to wanting to know more. Each post, Reel, or story is a touchpoint—showing your personality, your values, and the experiences you create. These small moments build familiarity and trust so that by the time someone clicks through to your website, they already feel connected to your brand.
Once they land on your site, they’re not cold traffic anymore, they’re primed. That’s where a Brand Story Video or VSL (Video Sales Letter) takes over, deepening the relationship, giving them the full picture, and moving them closer to taking action—booking, buying, or reaching out.
Social media doesn’t just “get you likes.” When used strategically, it funnels attention and trust toward the content that converts, turning casual scrollers into loyal customers.

That’s exactly why testimonials are so powerful. They don’t just tell people about your business—they show it through the voices and experiences of your clients. A well-crafted testimonial builds trust, demonstrates results, and helps future customers see themselves in the story.
This testimonial film was created for Little Oasis 1770, showcasing the impact of their holistic wellness services.
Featuring a diverse range of guests — from solo visitors to couples and groups — it captures the inclusive, calming atmosphere and the powerful benefits of infrared sauna, cold plunge, and relaxation therapies.
Testimonial videos like this are designed to increase engagement on websites and social platforms, helping potential clients see themselves in the experience while building trust through authentic customer stories.

A brand story video goes deeper than a promo clip. It captures the why behind your business—the origin, the values, the people, and the vision that make you different. This emotional connection builds trust, loyalty, and memorability in ways that facts or features alone can’t.
These films don’t just sit on a website. They perform across your ads, social media, email campaigns, and sales funnels—moving audiences from awareness to action. They help potential customers see themselves in your story, making the choice to work with you feel natural and inevitable.
Put simply: brand story videos turn your history and values into a narrative that drives growth.
This brand story film captures the heart of Wild Sandalwood — a locally grown, purpose-led brand built around connection. From hand-blended scents crafted by Randall, to Monica’s deep care for formulation, ethics, and feeling, the film reveals how every product is designed to reconnect people with nature, self, and place.
Rather than positioning Wild Sandalwood as just another product range, the story highlights the intention behind the brand: small-batch craftsmanship, Australian sandalwood, and scent profiles created to evoke emotion, memory, and calm. It reflects a business grounded in community, sustainability, and thoughtful creation — not mass production.
The result is a brand story that builds trust, communicates values instantly, and gives customers a reason to choose Wild Sandalwood beyond ingredients or price. It turns their philosophy into a living narrative that supports their website, social content, and long-term growth.
Where your video is displayed shapes how it needs to be created. Producing content for social media requires one skill set, but delivering to cinema specifications demands another, specialist equipment, editing, and grading so the story feels just as powerful on the big screen as it does online. The cinema is a unique advertising space: it holds a captive local audience and makes your brand’s story larger than life.
That’s why the Gladstone Chamber of Commerce & Industry partnered with Beach Shack Productions to create the launch film for the Buy Local 2025 campaign.
The project saw us working with over 30 local businesses, weaving together their stories into a single, high-impact film that celebrated the resilience, diversity, and heart of the Gladstone business community.
The final film premiered in cinemas and was also optimised for digital platforms, ensuring the campaign reached audiences wherever they were on the big screen, on social media, and online. Backed by authentic stories like “Every time you shop local, you’re building something bigger. Buy local. Thrive local.” the video inspired locals to support their region and strengthened community pride.
These are not just videos. They are story-driven assets built to clarify value, strengthen trust, and help brands connect more meaningfully with the people they need to reach. Every project here started with a strategic question: what job does this story need to do?
WILD SANDALWOOD
Challenge: Take a native botanical product from niche appeal to mainstream credibility — without losing the founder's deep connection to Country. What we built: A brand narrative and content suite that positioned Wild Sandalwood as a premium, evidence-backed product. We combined founder storytelling, product education, and visual identity into a system that works across retail, wholesale, and digital channels. Strategic outcome: Wild Sandalwood launched with proof built into every touchpoint — not just a product page, but a content strategy that builds trust before the first sale.

Challenge: Give a regional gallery exhibition a compelling promotional asset that does more than announce dates — one that draws people into the artist’s world. What we built: A short documentary capturing Bina Van Haeften’s eco-dyeing and botanical printing practice, filmed in her environment to reflect the deep connection between her art and the natural world. Strategic outcome: The film served dual purposes — enriching the gallery experience for visitors while giving GRAGM a promotional asset they could use across digital channels to drive attendance and highlight regional arts culture.

Challenge: Build a campaign that goes beyond posters and slogans — one that makes locals genuinely want to spend in their own backyard. What we built: A multi-format story campaign anchored by a hero film. We embedded with local businesses, captured real community voices, and created a narrative thread that connected pride, identity, and local economic impact. Strategic outcome: The campaign gave GCCI a reusable content ecosystem — a hero film, social cutdowns, and campaign assets they can activate seasonally without starting from scratch.

Challenge: Little Oasis had built a loyal following through word of mouth. But as they grew, they needed a way to communicate their value to new audiences who had no personal connection yet. What we built: A brand story film that captured the warmth, care, and philosophy behind the business — designed to do the trust-building work that personal recommendations used to handle. Strategic outcome: A reusable narrative asset that introduces the brand with warmth and credibility — working across social, website, and pitch contexts without needing the founders in the room.
